Client Side Interface |
EO.Web EditableLabel offers client side JavaScript interface for you to get/set value and enter/exit edit mode. In order to call client side JavaScript interface, you must get a reference to the client side EditableLabel object first:

var label = eo_GetObject("EditableLabel1");
Once you have a reference to the EditableLabel object, you can call any of the following methods on the object:
Method | Remarks |
---|---|
getValue | Get the current value of the control. |
setValue | Set the current value of the control. |
activate | Switch the control into edit mode. |
deactivate | Exit edit mode. |
For example, the following code place the control into edit mode:
