what do you consider "uac disabled" Currently in the control panel I have set to "never notify", under my local gp the setting "User Account Control: Run all administrators in Admin Approval Mode", under Computer Configuration\Policies\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\Security Options. is disabled and in the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System\EnableLUA has been set to 0

Hi,
You seem to have done all the right thing ---- we only set the UAC in the control panel to "never notify" and the font would start to work. So I am not sure what else to tell you. The root of the problem is one of Windows API that retrieves font data would not give us the font data ---- we can send you the test code if you are interested. The issue occurs as long as your code is running without an interactive desktop. Other than that we do not know what else to tell you.
