GoogleAPIKey - what is the use? Options

I am looking at the features of the webbrowser and stumbled on the GoogleAPIKey settings. What use do I have entering a GoogleAPIKey - I mean, what can I do and who uses it? Thanks!

Hi,

You would need the Google API key if you need to use some features that are backed by one of Google's service. For example, Google Chrome browser as well as EO.WebBrowser supports speech recognition. However the actual speech recognition is not done by your computer. It's done by one of Google's service through it's public API, the browser just calls that API. In order to use those APIs, you need Google API key.
