Hi, now that Chrome 52 is out, I'm wondering if you can tell us a timeframe for when EO.WebBrowser might be updated to a more recent version of Chromium. Thanks!

Hi, we're just checking in to see if you have an ETA on when you expect to sync up with Chromium. Are you still looking at sometime around the end of the year? Thanks!

Forgive me for asking again! We just want to get a final check on the ETA for releasing a new version of EO.WebBrowser, as we're getting anxious clients wondering why they are getting warnings on certain web sites. Are you still expecting to release a new version in December? Thanks!

Hi,

Right now we are testing and finishing up an internal build that is based on Chromium V54. We are looking for having an beta build available to a number of customers who are interested in beta testing either at the end of this month or early Janaury. Depending on how that goes the official release should follow soon.

Thanks!

Count us in for the beta testing if you're accepting additional customers. We'd love to get our hands on it as early as possible.

Hi,

We are very close. There are a few things that still needs to be worked out. The final build should be out next week.

Thanks!

When we browse to certain sites (for example www.google.com), the web page shows a message at the top with the following text. "We've detected you're using an older version of Chrome. Update to stay secure".

We understand EO locks to a specific version of Chromium. Chromium itself is constantly being updated and hence EO may not have the latest Chromium always. Currently EO is using Chromium version 54.0.2840.99 which looks like was released in Oct 2016. Wondering how often EO syncs with the Chromium version. Our concern is that how soon we can get any security fixes made to Chromium available in the EO.

BTW, we are using EO version 2017.2.0.0.

Hi,

We will be synching to Chromium soon and should have an updated version around the end of the year.

Thanks!
