New user of EO.Pdf libraries. We have the need to convert web pages (ASPX,HTML) to PDF documents. Our pages use CSS media queries to hide elements we do not wish to print. I understand your renderer uses a screen profile to render the PDF. Searching this forum it is mentioned you would be adding support to optionally "force" a print media profile in a future version. Has this been implemented and how to we activate it? This is crucial for our implementation as we would have to re-engineer many of our reports to get around this limitation. Thanks for any guidance you can provide.

Thanks for posting in the forum. The current build do not support print media yet. However the underlying work to support this is already in place in the current version. So if you can send us a small test file we will be very happy to look into it and get this implemented if possible. You can see here for more information on sending test file to us:

I sent a test project back on the 4th (just an FYI). I see you released an update but I'm assuming the ability to specify which media profile to use is not included? Is there any ballpark idea of when this feature will be released?

Hi,

The print media was not in last week's build. It will be in this week's build.

Thanks!

I just upgraded to the latest build and tested the new HtmlToPdf.Otpions.UserPrintMedia option. After some basic initial testing, it seems to work as advertised. Thanks for getting this much needed feature implemented in to the product! More and more sites will likely start using media queries and it's great that you can now support the print media profile!
