How to Handle Certificate Error using EO.Pdf.Mvc Options

I'm currently trying to upgrade from EO.Pdf.Mvc 2015 to 2016 but I'm getting unhandled exceptions in EO.WebBrowser.dll - A certificate error occured. Please handle CertificateError event. This occurs when calling an action that has the RenderAsPDF attribute under https. I'm using a self signed certificate for development so I understand why I'm getting the exception but I can't figure out anyway to catch or handle the CertificateError event so I can call Continue() on it. How can this be done?
