I'm so frustrated when updating a website that contains eo.web controls. Here's an example. I am licensed for the current version of the controls. I have the website in service, posted last month and working just fine with the eo.web controls. I publish an update locally and copy it up to the site then copy everything to the web except the eo.web files, which I leave intact (I've also tried copying over the ones from local deploy, which have exactly the same file dates/sizes). When I test the site, I get that damned licensing message again.
This has happened with other sites too. Updating them seems to be a real hassle.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi,
How do you apply the license? With license code or license file?
Thanks!

Hi, Then you can just follow the license troubleshooting steps link to troubleshoot: http://www.essentialobjects.com/forum/postst119_EOWeb-Controls-License-troubleshooting.aspxMost of the time it's because the license file got deleted/updated with a wrong one when you publish your project. There is really no magic there. If your license doesn't work, one of those 4 steps will fail. Thanks!
