Hi,

Somehow we don't get the expected result from eoPDF if we send a page built with Angular Material.

It looks like flexbox is not supported and also rgba colored texts are not rendered.

My questions are:
Should Angular Material and eoPDF work well together? And if not will they in the near future?

Thanx,
Otto

Hi,

We won't be able to test all third party library to verify whether they work with EO.Pdf or not. However our converter is based on an older version of WebKit browser rendering engine which may not support all the features a newer engine does. One of the most important missing part is Function.prototype.bind. You can work around this problem by adding your own implementation in the page. See this page for the code:

http://www.essentialobjects.com/forum/postst8340_EOPdf--SVG-renders-blank-using-NVD3.aspx

If that does not fix the problem, then it may indeed by something else that we do not support. We are in the process of updating EO.Pdf to use a fairly recent version of Chrome browser engine and we expect to have the first release available using the new engine early next year.

Thanks!

Hi,

Do you have a date set for: "the first release available using the new engine"?

Thanx!

Hi,

We do not have a firm date set for the final release yet but this has already been implemented and we are currently going through testing. The final release date would depend on how the testing goes. If you are interested, we can provide our internal test build to you so that you can verify whether this resolves the issue for you. Please let us know.

Thanks!

Hi,

Thanks for your quick reply. Receiving your build would be great! This would give us an opportunity to test.

Thanks!
