hi,

do essentail objects work on microsoft web developer 2008?
if so how can i integrate these tools into my program?

It does. The installer should automatically add our controls to your toolbox. If it does not, follow steps at here:

The document is based on Visual Studio 2003/2005, but the idea is the same. You will need to use the DLL for .NET 2.0.
