Hello,

We are getting reports from our Windows10 clients who use AVG antivirus. They get the "child process not ready" exceptions.

This issue is easily reproducible on Tabbed browser v2015.2.41.0

Scenario:

1) Windows 10
2) latest AVG antivirus (e.g. 2015.0.6140)
3) latest Tabbedbrowser from you (2015.2.41.0)

issue:
Tabbedbrowser crashes on load

Kind regards,

Jim

Hi,

There isn't much we can do on this. Our components dynamically creates child process at runtime and AVG incorrectly categorize it as virus and kills the child process. We will try to contact AVG and see if they will be able to fix this issue on their end.

Thanks!

We have had trouble with AVG many times.

We are steering our clients away from AVG because of all their aggressiveness.

Sometimes they have 'whitelisted' our executables, so maybe you could do that...

Thanks for replying,

Regards,

Jim

Hi,

This is just to let you know that AVG has notified us that they have added our digital certificate to their whitelist. We will contact BitDenfender and see if they can do the same.

Thanks!
