Hi Support!
I've just downloaded EO.Total.2015.1.70.4.msi in hope to get Windows 10 compatibility and some other new features and stability fixes.
Migrating to the new version seems harder than I thought. Here are a couple of issues I ran into:
1) Licensing
It's not clear to me how to upgrade my license. I've a 2014 license and the key wouldn't work anymore. I've checked the Purchase FAQs here
http://www.essentialobjects.com/PurchaseFAQ.aspx and according to this article, the 2014 license is the most recent license and no upgrade is necessary. I've also seen a post here in the forum that a new license key should be obtained through the My Profile page. I did that but the key still wouldn't work. So I guess I need to obtain an upgrade key but I'm not sure how I should do that. According to the FAQ page, there's a discount for existing licensees. How can I order an upgrade?
2) ProxyInfo
It seems that your obfuscator has gone too far. In the current build there's no ProxyInfo class, instead an "Internal.e5" class. I rely on the ProxyInfo settings and ProxyType stuff. Can you please make sure that this would work. An example on how to set it up in code would also be nice. The documentation is very thin and a simple C# sample on how to configure proxy settings would be very helpful. Maybe it's just the current situation with the obfuscated classes but it feels like guess work to get it done.
3) More Proxy Stuff
In this thread I asked about quickly enabling/disabling the proxy settings:
http://www.essentialobjects.com/forum/postst8928_EOWebBrowserRuntimeProxy-enabledisable.aspxIs this already implemented in the latest build? If so, is there some documentation? If not, any rough release date where this is addressed?
Lastly, I miss a change log. I couldn't find anything in the installation directory, help file or web site. It would be really helpful to have a change log somewhere where we can see what was fixed and what features were added.
Thank you!
Stefan
