Link not changing color Options

In my app there is a page for links. When the user clicks on the link, the color changes for a second( I have a style change for it in my aspx page).
But the link reverts back to black after a second.
I tested this is chrome and it works correctly, just not using the WebBrowser (3.0.112.0)
