Good Afternoon.

This is going to be a very generic question so I apologize beforehand. I'm just hoping someone can help guide me in the right direction.

We have a website that uses eo.ASPXToPDF to render a portion of our html as a PDF document. We've tested this extensively in-house and it works great.

After we deployed the site into our clients' environments we noticed the functionality was not working. When clicking on the PDF generation, it takes an abnormally long period of time (2 - 3 minutes) and eventually generates the PDF, but it is almost entirely blank save for some headers and footers.

I was able to confirm that when I Remote Desktop directly onto the clients' web server and access that site that way, the PDF generation works fine. It's only when accessing the site through the internet that the problem occurs.

That's where we are right now and we're really not sure how to proceed with troubleshooting so I decided to reach out and see if anyone has seen behavior like this before and could point me in the right direction.

Thanks,
Chris

Hi,

Please try to remote desktop to the web server and access the site with the server's external name, for example, instead of using "http://localhost//application1/page1.aspx", using "http://www.yoursite.com/page1.aspx" and see if it works fine. When this occurs usually the later would not work correctly. See here for more information about this problem:

Thanks!
