When adding a textbox to a document with value that exceeds the length of the text box, the font is reduced significantly in size until it is illegible. Is this by design? Typically a textbox scrolls to the right and truncates any text that exceeds it's visible width. Guidance is appreciated here. Thank you.

Hi,
This is how Adobe Reader handles textbox by default. When we create a PDF file, we simply put a textbox there. We do not define the behavior of the textbox. For some reason Adobe thinks the most intuitive way is to reduce font size to display all contents. You will find many other PDF files with textbox behave the same way. So I do not believe it should be a concern.
Thanks!
