Hi,

Yes. You can do that. You can take a look of the samples and documentation and if you still have any questions, please let us know and we will be able to help you further.

Thanks!

Thanks for your response. I have checked with your samples, HTMLtoPDF has the option to create multilayer, but our requirement is multilayer with on/off functionality. I have a sample PDF and screenshot. If required, i can upload it for you.

Thanks,
Venkat.

Hi,

Whatever multilayer on/off occurs in your HTML, not in the PDF. PDF is a static snapshot of your HTML. So if your page has 3 layers and you turn on 2 layers when the page loads and then call the HTML to PDF converter, the PDF gets 2 layers. So basically whatever you want to do you do it in your HTML, and once you convert it to PDF, it would be like printing it to a paper.

Thanks!

If you do not have, gently accept it. I know how PDF and HTML will behave. I already said that I have a Multilayer PDF with layer On/Off options, If you really want I can upload it.

Hi,

Sorry we weren't clear about exactly clear about what you mean by "multi-layer PDF" at the very beginning. To answer your question, we do not do multiple on/off layers in the PDF file. The PDF file generated by our HTML to PDF converter is a static snapshot of your HTML page. Technically it is possible to have interactive features in PDF but PDF support for interactive features is very limited and it is no comparison with what you can do with JavaScript in a web page. As such whatever interactive features you have in your web page do not get carried into the PDF file because it is not technically possible to duplicate those behaviors precisely in a PDF file.

Hope this clears it up.

Thanks!
