I've recently upgraded to 2007.2 and I'm trying to add a grid component to my web application. If I click "Edit Grid" in design mode the grid builder is displayed with a dialog box saying "This grid does not have any style settings, do you want to start the Grid from a built-in template?". If I click "Yes" then the whole grid builder dialog is closed. If I click "No" and try to click on the template tab the same thing happens.

If I try to access any of the style properties on the grid tab (ItemStyle, AlternatingItemStyle, etc) using the "..."-button I just get a messagebox saying "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation".

Any ideas what might be wrong? I'm using Visual Studio 2005.

Hi,

Do you get the same error if you drag a dialog to the form and invoke the dialog builder? Also, there might be somewhere in your project that still references the old DLL. So try to load our demo project and see if you get the same error.

Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks

Hi! Thanks for the fast reply!

The dialog builder and all other builders works just fine! It's only the grid builder that seems to be broken. I loaded the demo project but the result was the same.

All my colleagues have the same problem with the grid builder.

Hi Johan,

We have setup an online meeting for you. Would you mind to join the meeting so that we can see the error? I have sent the meeting ID to you via private message. You can click "Inbox" on the top to view the message.

Thanks
