Seems like there was a time when I could simply copy a new eo.web.dll to my environment when there was a new build. Now, the only way I see to get to a new DLL is to do a complete reinstall. Here is the procedure I've been following:
- Download new build
- Remove License key (in case uninstall would somehow erase it)
- Uninstall EO.Web via Control Panel / Programs and features
- Reboot PC
- Install EO.Web from downloaded install program
- Refresh EO.Web reference in any projects using it
- Re-add License key
Is there an easier way?
thanks,
Pete

Hi,
Some of the steps are not needed (such as rebooting PC). But your steps are generally correct. Particularly, you will always need to refresh reference and rebuild your project.
Thanks!

What about removing and readding the License key - is that necessary?

It won't hurt. If you upgrade to a newer version (for example, fro 9.0.30 to 10.0.30), then the license key has to be changed. If you only upgrade to new build for the same version (for example, from 10.0.30 to 10.0.40), then you have to switch to the new license key.
Thanks!
