Weird misfunction about links and divs Options

Hi guys,
i have a problem. I have a code that looks like this:

Code: HTML/ASPX 
<div style="background-color:gray; width:300px; float:left; position:absolute;"> </div>
<div style="float:left; position:relative;"><a href="http://www.google.com">google</div>


But if you try it with the html to pdf conversion, it gives just the text and not the link.
Any Ideas?
