I have tried to set the width of all my grid columns, but when I run the page the widths do not reflect my values, my columns are resizeable but I want to start at the correct size.
What is the way to set the columns width that will not cut off my data display.

Hi,
We are not aware of anything particular about setting Grid column width. If you believe there is a problem on our side, you can create a small test page demonstrating the problem and we will be happy to take a look.
