Hi,
We just purchased the eo.pdf creator. Love it by the way. My question is - I know you put out new builds on a regular basis. Will my license key continue to work if I download a newer dll or will I need to update the key too? Also, will my license ever expire?
Bottom line- we have many clients who depend on us to create their documents for them. We used to use a different pdf converter tool. It started having problems when our server installed IE 9. We felt blindsided by circumstances beyond our control. One of the main reasons we switched to your product is that it is independent of internet browsers. So I am just looking for some reassurance that this tool will continue working now that we have licensed it and the eo footer will not start showing up on our documents after an upgrade or something like that.

Thank you very much for your business. As you already noticed, our product is packed inside a single DLL and it has zero external dependency. So it will continue to work no matter what browser user uses, install or uninstall.
Your license key is good forever for the version you purchased. It does not entitle you to use the product line forever. This is similar that you purchased Windows XP does not mean you will be able to use Windows Vista or Windows 7. We constantly post new builds, but as long as the major version does not change, your license key will continue to work. Usually we will only change the major version number unless there is a significant amount of new features are added. When that occurs, your existing license will not work for the new version and you will have to upgrade your license first. Our upgrade price is very reasonable. For example, we just release version 4 (EO.Pdf 2012) and the upgrade price from the previous version to this version is only $100 for most users.
Your license key is for EO.Pdf 2012, since that was just released, so it will be a while before we will have another one. In the mean time you can safely download all the updates without worrying about the license.
