Hi,
I am working on a sample application, in which i convert the HTML page to PDF for printing, in which i have lots of tables & lots of rows i.e. tr with huge data is pulled from the database.i have applied "page-break-inside:avoid" for the tables, it worked as expected, but the rows or tr of the table are getting split when the page breaks.
Please help me on this....

Jayant

Hi,

We have posted a new build that fixed some table paging issues. We do not know 100% whether it will fix your issue because we do not have a test page from you to verify the fix. You can see your private message for the download location and see if it fixes the issue for you. If it still does not fix the issue, please provide a test page and we will be happy to look into it again.

Thanks!

Hi

I am also having similar but differnt paging issues. Does the new fix resolve these?

I am creating a 10 page pdf. On page 2 it has a table. At the end of the table is a div page break.

This all works perfect unless the table overspills the length of the page. When this happens the table headers are repeated, which is nice and I guess your build in functionality. see here http://screencast.com/t/9GUtZov3EEid

however then on every other page (after this correct table overspill) of the PDF I seem to have table headers being displayed after the pagebreak which is incorrect.
see this
http://screencast.com/t/YggcadYc5G

Please can you let me know if the fix above realtes to this issue? I have a test page I can apply it to if required.
Thanks

BTW - Nice Product. very impressed.

Regards

Johnathan

Hi Johnathan,

Based on what you described and your screenshot, it does not appear to be the same problem as Jayant. However we did fix some issues with table header before fixing the problem for Jayant. So I would recommend you to give the latest build a try first. We will PM you the download location shortly (the latest build is not on our download page yet).

If the problem still occurs, please let us know and provide a test page to reproduce the problem. We do not rely on external browsers such as IE, so there is virtually no black box to us. Thus as long as we can reproduce the problem, we should be able to get to the bottom of it.

Thanks!

Hi,
Thanks for the help & solution.
It worked nicely for the tr of the tables, but i have got a new problem with the tables now,
for the tables if i give "page-break-inside:avoid" style, then only the first table is getting generated properly & after that table is completed, the PDF is not getting created, i have more than 15 tables on my single web page.
Tried many things, but not successful to get resolved.
Please help....

Regards,
Jayant

Hi Jayant & Johnathan:

Please see your private message as to where to send the test page. Once we have the test pages, we will run it here and debug through it. That should help us to identify the root cause.

Thanks!
