Hello, We appear to have a bug using the Spellchecker. this is used to check the text of a editor control and when it finds 2 unknown words side by side e.g. Aghios Ioannis, it reports both as unknown but when you choose to ignore then close, it removes the space between both words. any way of avoiding this or is it a bug within the control.
Thanks

Hi, We tested this and it seems to be working fine. Our steps are: 1. Go to this page: http://demo.essentialobjects.com/Demos/Editor/Designs/Office%202003/Demo.aspx2. Click "Full" radio button to display the spell checker button; 3. Paste "Aghios Ioannis" into the editor, then click "Spell Checker" toolbar button; 4. The SpellChecker highlights the first word ("Aghios"), click "Ignore Once"; 5. The SpellChecker highlights the second word ("Ioannis"), click "Ingore Once"; 6. The SpellChecker displays "Spell check completed." and closes the dialog; At this point, the text in the editor is still the same. Can you try the same and see if it works for you? Or if your steps are different, please let us know. Thanks!

I'm getting the issue when trying the above. Try this; do exactly as suggested, then once returned to the editor (it defaults to Design mode), then flip to HTML mode and you'll see the space has been removed. Therefore it appears the text has been changed however this isn't being displayed properly in the Design mode until you first flip to HTML then back to Design. When saving the editor text to db, it is the raw html which is sent.

Further, I can see that it has been resolved in the latest version, however could you advise where I could obtain the build update? I'm currently using version 7.0.39.2. If I get the latest full download, it's stating my license is not valid. Thanks.

Hi Stephen,
You will need to either purchase a new license or place an upgrade order in order to use the new build. We offer free upgrade for one year after the purchase. After that you will have to upgrade your license or purchase a new license if your license is too old to qualify for any upgrade discount. If you can let us know your order number, we will be able to tell you the exact cost.
Thanks!

The order number was 5240-4305-9967-7240. Appreciate this was purchased a while ago, however as we've highlighted a bug which has since been sixed for future releases hoping the cost to upgrade won't be too much?
rgds.

Hi,
That does not look like a valid order number. If you see a file named eoweb.licx (that’s the license file, it should be in your application’s root or bin directory), open it with a notepad and posts the value of the "licenseId" field, we can locate your order based on that.
Whether you have highlighted a bug does not affect your upgrade price. What we do is we give you free upgrade for one year. If you want to use a newer version made after one year of the purchase, then an upgrade is usually required. We have this policy because browsers keep updating and sometimes a newer browser would break certain features that used to work on the old browsers. In that case we have to "fix" it for the newer browser. However that does not mean users who have purchased it years ago will be able to get a free upgrade just because some features in their version may not work correctly on the newer browsers.
Thanks!

Hi,
Your license is for EO.Web Controls Suite 2008. We currently offer 40% off upgrade discount for that version. So that should give you a final upgrade price of $209. The upgrade would give you a brand new license for EO.Web Controls Suite 2011, which would cover all new controls in 2009, 2010 and 2011 as well as an additional year of free upgrade.
You will need a discount code in order to purchase the upgrade. So please let us know if you want to purchase the upgrade so that we can create the code for you.
Thanks
