Start progress bar from other than 0. Options

Hi,

Every time when I load my page the progress bar starts from 0, which I dont want to.

My page refreshes for ever 3 mins by getting the data from the database. I just want to move the progress bar left or right based on the current value by keeping the previous progress happened.

Is there anyway where I can update my progress bar with non zero.?

Ex : For the first time the progress bar updates for 35%
second time the value will be 40, so the progress bar should just move from 35 to 40 instead of starting from 0.
