I have a problem with my eo.menu, i have a big web application, i want to separate in some web applications, my problem is that i host the main application (which one have the menu) in the url

www.mydomain.com/main/menu.aspx, and the other parts (sub applications) in

www.mydomain.com/subapp1/page1.aspx,
www.mydomain.com/subapp1/page2.aspx,
www.mydomain.com/subapp1/page3.aspx....,

www.mydomain.com/subapp2/page1.aspx,
www.mydomain.com/subapp2/page2.aspx,
www.mydomain.com/subapp2/page3.aspx, ....

my problem is i don't know how configurates the menú because i asign the url

www.mydomain.com/subapp1.page1.aspx

and eo.menu always try to target an url kind

main/www.mydomain.com/subapp1/page1.aspx, and always obtain the error "page not found".

is there a configuration i can set for the eo.menu take the url as absolute.

can anybody help me, thanks!

pd. i'm from México

Hi,

You just have to use http://www.mydomain.com/subapp1.page1.aspx.

Thanks

thanks, but it doesn't work, if i asign images instead pages placed in that paths, it only works the first time i choose something of the menu, the second time the submenu doesn't be displays.

in VS2008 in debug time throw me some errors that seems like javascript errors of eo.menu and then shows the image of the menú chosed and then the eo.menu does't displays any more.

When the url was relative we don't have any problem, now that we are trying to maket absolute it doesn't work.

May be we are using an old version of eo.menu?

// Version: 6.0.80.2
we buy the license some time ago.

some images to ilustrate

i apressiate some help, i continue making tests. thanks.

Hi,

Check whether you are using different domain names. Cross frame menu will NOT work across different domains. See here for more details (search for "cross domain security"):

http://doc.essentialobjects.com/library/1/menucommon/crossframe.aspx

If you still have any questions, then there will be a fee of $30/issue since your free support period has expired. We offer free tech support for one year after the purchase. After one year you can either pay a one time support fee for every ticket or purchase an upgrade license. The upgrade license will give you another one year of free tech support.

Thanks
