When setting my AcmText object's .Style.Fontstyle = FonstStyle.Underline, it underlines each individual word, instead of the entire text, including spaces. Is there a way to make sure the spaces are underlined as well?

Also, the under seems to occur right after the bottom pixel of the letters, leaving no margin between the letters and the line. Is there a way to adjust this?

Thanks

Hi,

The current version should underline the spaces correctly. If you continue to have problem, please post a small piece of test code that can demonstrate the problem, we will look into it immediately.

As to the underline spacing, I do not believe it should be adjustable but it is also wrong to draw it right after the bottom pixel of the letters. We will have to change our code to move it down a little bit. We can provide you a new build very quickly with this update.

Thanks!

Can you confirm or reproduce the first problem with the last version so that if it is indeed a problem, we can take care of both for you in the new build?

Hi,

Please download the latest build (.63) from our download page. It now has space between the letters and the underline.

Thanks!

The underline is down a couple of pixels, and looks good, but the space problem is back. Spaces are not underlined.

An odd thing with this: when I first downloaded 63.2, both the spaces and the underline were correct when I ran the program from the IDE. However, when I installed it on two different computers, both showed the space issue. I then removed all copies of older versions of EO.PDF, and now I see the space issue however the program is run.

Hi,

This would be more likely a version problem on your machine. The space issue was fixed quite a while ago and it should not occur in the new version.

If you continue to have problem, try to isolate the problem into at test project and send the test project to us. We will be happy to take a look once we have that.

Thanks
