I have a slide menu that I'm using as a scrolling menu to display news topics.

I have two questions:
1. How do select the top menu options to collapse after a user clicks to open?
2. How do I select an internal scroll indicator?

I apologize for being vague. I have a slide menu control where I've organized news for the following topics:
1. Traffic
2. Homicide

The effects I'm trying to repoduce are:

A) If a user clicks on a topic like "Traffic", the slidemenu opens up and displays the news. If he clicks on the topic again, the slide menu collapses. An example of this effect is here on the demo page: Slide Menu->Designs->Style 2 (a simple expand/collapse effect)

B) When a user expands on a topic for news topic like "Traffic", I'd like the scroller icon to display inside the scroller (along with the news items). An example of this effect is here on the demo page: Slide Menu->Features->Scrolling Slide Menu (the icons that indicate up/down are within the news pane.

I'd like to reproduce these effects for our new website redesign.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
