Hi,
The documentation does not cover that because the steps are the same for any DLLs. The basic steps are uninstall old versions, install the new versions and then update your project to reference the new DLL.
Thanks!

Thanks for your reply. My question was not precise enough. I wanted to understand the conditions and rules to upgrade to a new build and the associated key management issues (I have a key for the 2010 version of the controls, and wanted to make sure I can upgrade to the most recent build before I proceed to uninstalling and reinstalling).
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
I see. Your order covers the version you purchased (in your case 2010) and any new versions released within one year of your purchase.
For the version you purchased, you can simply download and install the newest builds. You do not need to do anything about the license key because the key is the same.
If a new version is released within one year of your purchase, you can also use that version for free. In order to use the new version, you will need to log into your account to download a new license file/key for the new version (that option will become available when a new version is released). You will then need to switch to the new key because the new version will only work with the new key (you will need to remove your old key first).
The new license file/key however has the following two restrictions: 1. It does not cover new controls introduced in the new version. For example, if you have a license for 2009 and then downloaded a key for 2010 for free, then you will not be able to use the Slide control because the Slide control is introduced in 2010; 2. It does not cover new builds made after one year of your purchase date. For example, if you purchased a license for 2009 in December 2009, you can download a key for 2010 when 2010 was released in June 2010. However you will not be able to use any new build made this year (even though they are still 2010);
To remove either of those restrictions, you will need to place an upgrade order in order to have a full license of the new version.
Hope this helps. Please feel free to let us know if you have any more questions.
Thanks
