There seems to be a problem with toggling subscript and superscript in the Editor control.

The following steps demonstrate it:

1) Go here .

2) Select the Full radio button

3) Type a word in the editor window, select it with the mouse and then click e.g. the Bold icon - the word turns bold.

4) Click the Bold icon again - the word reverts to normal type, as expected.

5) Click the superscript button - the word is shown as superscript.

6) Click the superscript button - the word does not revert to normal type.

The above behaviour is 100% reproducible, and the subscript button also exhibits it.

Hi,

This is normal. These are not toggle command (it does make sense to have these two as toggle commands, but they are not implemented as such in the current version). Currently only "Bold", "Italic" and "Underline" are implemented as toggle commands.

The workaround is to use the "Clean Format" button to remove superscript/subscript format.

Thanks!

I see.

Is that something you intend to implement in a future version?

I would expect so. However since this is not a blocking issue (it's currently categorized as "feature request"), so it has a much lower priority than bug fix. It should not be difficult to implement it, so we might be able to put it in in the near future. Nevertheless, there is no promise at this moment yet.

Thanks!
