Is there a way to position the SmallItemTemplate above the BigItemTemplate? I know that you can do this on the page however when the page is displayed in the browser the Big Item is always on top and the Small Item is always on the bottom.

Unfortunately no. I don't think there is anyway to do that. Sorry about it!
