When I use "Edit Toolbar" on an existing toolbar to add new items, the additions are reflected in the ASPX file design view but not in the source ... mostly. It appears that there are some conditions where additions are incorporated ... apparently when I change other, existing elements. My environment is EO 8.0.13.2, Visual Studio 2008 (up to date), Windows XP (up to date), and the page is a content page where EO is registered both on the master and the content page.

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Chris

Hi,

We can't think of any reason that can cause that, nor were we able to reproduce the problem. What if you edit "Items" property directly from property window?

Thanks

Indeed the properties and all native Visual Studio mechanisms work fine. Only the Toolbar Builder has a problem. In the Toolbar Builder I can save to a separate file and its content is up to date ... in fact this is my work around. It appears that the mechanism that writes back to the file being edited does not like something in my file or my environment. I'll see if I can get it down to a simple, reproducible scenario ... but it may be the somewhat complex master page.

Thanks!
Chris

I'm also having this problem .. I'm updating the toolbar through the builder and the preview correctly reflect my changes but the source aspx markup is not updated .. I'm using VS2008 and EO Version 8.0.40.2

Hi,

We are still not able to reproduce the problem. Please let us know if you can reproduce it with a blank new project.

Thanks!
