I have a web app (VB.NET - aspx) that does heavy processing serverside. Your demo has helped me to implement a single progress control but I need to update the status of multiple steps and show the 1 - 100 % for each.

Do you have a sample of how do accomplish this?

I also need to know how to add a download link to the client screen upon completion of the progress task. I could not get it to work from your Advanced2 demo.

Thanks for a great tool!

Hi,

Thank you very much for posting in the support forum. Unfortunately we do not provide free tech support for our free controls. You can either purchase a license for any controls to qualify for free tech support; or we can provide support for $30/issue. Please let us know if you are interested in either option.

Download link is easy if you are just trying to download some files that the browser won't open (for example, a zip file). It is more complicated if you are trying to download a file that the browser can open directly. For example, clicking a link to a HTML file would open it, instead of download and save it. We specifically have a Downloader control for that situation. So if that is the case, you may want to take a look of the downloader control. That control is not free, so if you purchase it we will be able to provide free support for both the downloader control and progress bar control to you.

Thanks!

$30 for the issue would be great. Let me know how I take care of that.

Hi,

We have sent a payment request to you through PayPal. We will email you regarding your question once we receive the payment.

Note that this does not cover the downloading part. We have no problem to provide you samples on how to create a download link in associate with the progress bar for files that browsers CAN NOT open. However as previously explained, download files that browsers CAN OPEN is a bit complicated so you may need our downloader for that. If you do purchase our downloader (or any other controls) in the future, we can refund the support fee to you.

Thanks!
