Hi,
We purchased our EO in February 2009 and were using EO Suite 2009. I reformated my computer recently. Before reformatting I removed the license key from the computer. When I was resetting up, I went to your website and downloaded 2010 as that was the only option to download and then added the key back in using the license manager. Will our previous eo_web.licx work with the 2010 (v8)EO.Web.dll? Or do I need to find the 2009 (v7) dll?

Hi,
You can use either version. If you use 2010, you will need to download a new license file and a new license key for 2010 from your license key page. You would then enter the new key (you will need to remove the old key first) and also use the new license file. The new license file won't cover the new controls in 2010 or any newer 2010 build after one year of your purchase (older builds will still run fine after that date). You can also purchase an upgrade to upgrade your license to the full 2010 license. The full 2010 license does not have these restrictions.
We can also provide you the download location for 2009 in case you wish to roll back to that version. Please let us know.

It's been over a year since we purchased it, so I don't see the 2010 license file & key on my order page. I can find the older dll somewhere on my own computer. That should be all I need?

Sorry that I didn't notice that your order is already over one year. I have sent you a private message with the download location for 2009. You will need to reinstall from the installer in order to use it.
