My QA folks want me to add a tooltip to the file delete button in an instance of FileExplorer. It sounded easy. I've tried setting the HeaderText for the delete checkbox column in HTML, on preload, and on load for both the FileExplorer and its interior FileGrid. In all cases my value is overwritten with the link to the icon.

Where/when can I change the header for a FileExporer FileGrid delete CheckboxColumn?

Hi,

Unfortunately there is no way to do that. The column header text is hardcoded as a delete image button. Sorry about that!
