I have a license for EO.Web Calendar (2007.2)...isn't my license supposed to let me deploy on any number of sites/applications? When I try to use this on a seperate website from the one I originally purchased it for I get the license message at the top of the screen.

I've installed it both by putting the license file in my BIN directory AND by adding the key to my Application_Start in my Global.asax file. I've done the troubleshooting and...

1) The file IS in my BIN directory.
2) The application can't find it with the IF/ELSE statement
3) I am using the correct version of the license with the code (5.0)

Any other ideas as to why this would be happening?

Thanks!

Hi,

If the application can not find it, then it's almost always a permission issue. You will need to adjust your NT file permission on that file to make sure your app can see it. Otherwise it is the same as not having the file at all.

Thanks!

Well I checked the permissions and they are correct. I also right-clicked the file and clicked "Unblock".

Now I am getting (from the IF/ELSE statement) that the license file exists, but I am still getting the license message at the top of the page.

The license type is for Calendar 5.0 and the version of the EO DLL is 7.0.53.2

Hi,

That won't work. You will have to upgrade your license to the current version (7.0.53) or downgrade your DLL version to match your license file. The cost to upgrade your license to the current version is $85 (50% discount). If you do not wish to upgrade, we can provide the download location of your version to you. Please let us know.

Thanks!

Not sure that I want to upgrade at this point until I'm sure it's what the client wants. Can you please provide the link?

Thanks so much!
