What determines which controls are shown when defining triggers Options

I am very curious... what determines which controls appear in the combobox that you use to define the triggers for a callbackpanel? It doesn't appear to list any controls located within asp updatepanels?

Hi,

The theoratically condition is whether the control can trigger a server event because if it doesn't trigger a server event, it won't be able to trigger a callback. However in reality it is not possible to precisely determine whether a control can raises a server event or not. So the actually list is a "best guess" based on a number of factors. In another word, it is only a list of "suggestions".
