I am using version is 6.0.63.2 of the web date picker control.
If I use keyboard entry with format d/M/yyyy I find that entering the / symbol after 1 digit for the day correctly moves to the month entry in the date string however entering a 2 digit number followed by a / symbol then moves to the year entry. Most date pickers I have used will not move to the next entry item if / is entered before a digit. This is causing our users much frustration in what is otherwise an excellent control
Is there a way of making the control behave in the "more expected" way.

Hi,
Unfortunately we are not aware of any way to make it not to skip the segment when you press "/". The single rule is as soon as you type "/", it skips to the next segment. However it does make sense not to skip it when the segment is empty. We will look into it and see what we can do. Thank you very much for your feedback!
