Hello,
When inserting a link in the HTMLEditor, if you enter a link such as "www.mysite.com" and do not add the "http://", it creates a url like this:
http://<myserver>/<mydirectory>/www.mysite.com
While this is not such a bother to me, it is somewhat confusing to our users who do not have the sense to add the http:// to the url.
Would it be possible to insert the http:// by default, or have an option to insert different types of links (file:, ftp:, mailto:, http:, https:) etc?
Users see this kind of feature in MS Outlook and other places and expect it in the editor.
Thanks

Users see this kind of feature in MS Outlook and other places and expect it in the editor. Great feedback but there is a fine line about how much we can put in. The reason is if we keep expanding the product then it will become heavier and heavier and eventually become too bloated, which is something a Web control needs to avoid. The Editor has reached a point where it already have most of the basic features so we are vary cautious about adding new features, most certainly, we can't mimic every Outlook behavior. We will look into it but I do not expect this to be high priority issue at this time. Thanks!
