In Visual Studio 2010 EO WEB objects doesn't display correctly.
The error message is "This version of EO.Web.dll is built for ASP.NET 2.0. Please use the .NET 1.1 build to run on ASP.NET 1.1"

I'm working with .Net framework 3.5 and EO.Web 7.0.24.2

Thanks,

Patrice

Hi,

Yes. We are aware of that. However because Visual Studio 2010 is still in Beta, we haven't addressed this issue yet. Hopefully we will address it soon.

Thanks!

Please provide a solution to this problem, we are under the process of Migrating an Old Application, and are making it 4.0 ready, so that the application should Go Live with the Final release of 4.0

This has been a show stopper for us, and if we do not have a solution for it soon, then we will be left with no other option other then suggesting our client to Go for another 3rd Party Vendor.

Hi,

The current version at the download page supports VS 2010. So you can download it directly from there.

Thanks!

Hello.

What about users of older versions (2007 or 2008) that work targeting framework 2.0 but use 2010 IDE?

Thanks!

Hi,

You will need to upgrade to the latest version first.

Thanks

No. EO.Web Version 7 was released in early 2009, IE 11 was released in late 2013 almost five years later. Only the current version EO.Web 2014 (internal version 12) is released after IE 11 thus officially support IE 11.

Thanks!
