I have a grid which is configured to allow rows to be added by the traditional method. It works fine until I add a MaskedEdit column. As soon as a new row is selected I get an exception. I believe it is caused by the fact that new cells have a null pointer and the maskededit control is trying to validate it's content. Is it possible to provide a default value? I don't see a property for this. This is my first experience with EO so please bear with me!

Thanks, I really appreciate your rapid response and willingness to accept that it may be a bug. Now if I could just get Microsoft to do the same...
I have another question that I will post separately so as not to cause confusion!

This issue has been fixed in build 2009.0.34.
