Javascript error when using Web.Editor in IE6 Options

I've created a web page which dynamically adds a number of EO.Web.Editor controls to a page.
This works perfectly for most of my users, who are using IE7 or IE8, but I'm having problems with users of IE6.

When the page loads I get javascript errors:
Microsoft JScript runtime error: Permission denied
this.abhc.contentEditable="true"

Microsoft JScript runtime error: Object doesn't support this property or method
_eo_initobj_ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_MyFirstMailer_Save5();

How can I fix this, please?
