Grid warning when sorting on a column Options

Hi,

I get following warning message in IE when sorting a grid column which contains calculated figures (i.e. column1 - Column2).

"Stop running this script?"
"A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly.
If it continues to run, you computer may become unresponsive."

What should I do to avoid this message?

Hi,

That can occur when you have too many rows in your Grid. When that is the case there is no simple solution because it takes that long to sort all the rows. We did implemented some optimization very recently so there is a chance that the new version runs faster so you won't get that message. Thus you may want to verify whether you have the latest. The latest build for EO.Web Controls 2008 is 6.0.85.
