Hi!

Is it possible to set the text for a literal segment from javascript?

What I have, is a masked edit that I need 1 segment to be read only for a user. But I want to set the text from a drop down list.

Currently I am doing this using a postback to change that segment. But the round trip to the server is killing the performance.

If this is not currently possible, then I would like to suggest adding an attribute called something like allowclientedit for the literal segment type if possible.

Thanks for the suggestion. This is not currently possible. It does make sense to have it though. So we will see what we can do with it.
