I'm getting the following error in my multipage views in Design mode only. The program actually compiles and RUNS. But now I need to add some additional labels inside my pageview but can not see any of my controls. Also, this appears to be sporatic, please help me with this. The following is the message I'm getting.

Error Creating Control - MultiPage1

The type initializer for 'EO.Web.Internal.jj' threw an exception.

Also, my tabstrib says the same.

Hi,

This is most likely a permission issue. Try to run VS as Administrator and see if it helps. Also make sure your have installed the control to a local drive, not a network drive.

Thanks

I had this problem yesterday, and I've never logged off. I had this problem when I accidently inserted a drop down list into the pageview because it didn't like it in there. I had to go into the html and remove it manually.

Hi,

Try to add EO.Web.dll into GAC, then update your project to reference the DLL from GAC and see if that helps. Note that once you change the reference that way, you should no longer have EO.Web.dll in your bin directory.

Alternatively, you can try to start a blank new project locally and see if you see the same problem.

Thanks!
