I've asked about this problem before but never got a resolution.
Using FireFox as your browser, go to the Editor demo.
In Office Word 2007 Type something with two space characters in a row like
test[space][space]test
Copy and paste this into the editor in FireFox. What you'll get is
test  test
Firefox in an attempt to preserver the two spaces makes the second space a non-breaking space entity but misses the trailing ";" causing it to fail. Multiple spaces do the samething with the final space being the &nsbp mispelling.
This one is really driving me nuts because our website is used for authors to submit works for critique an when they use the standard two spaces following a periiod in FireFox it messes up their document.

Hi,
We will look into this but we may not be able to do anything right away. This kind of wierd browser bug not only drives you nuts, but also drives us nuts. Based our experience, FireFox is getting worse and worse on these kind of tiny issues. To make the matter worse, they keep changing between different versions/builds. So we have to be very careful when applying a "fix" to workaround their bugs because it may break other things in other version of FireFox.
Please be rest assured that once we narrows down the scope of the issue (for example, only occurs on a certain version of FireFox), we will try to put in a workaround as soon as possible.
Thanks!
