The menu gets hidden behind a flash object. I tried assigning z-index values, but it didn't work.

I tried that, and it didn't help. I set wmode to transparent both as a parameter and within the <embed> tag for Firefox. I also made sure both the menu and the flash object were within divs, with the z-index of the div the menu was in set lower than the z-index of the div the flash object was in. That seems to be the way to do it, so I'm stumped!
I worked around it by having the submenu expand at bottom instead of right, but I would prefer to have it the other way...
