When using MaskedEdit with Mask Segment (specifically SSN), I am able to type in a complete SSN, hit delete key, and the entire entry will be deleted.

However, if I type in a complete SSN, then tab out of the field, then come back and hit delete nothing happens.

I realize backspace is the way to go when removing data, but why is the delete key's functionality inconsistent based on the field losing focus?
