We have license for version 2018 as well as version 2024. We haven't updated all our applications yet, recently we have seen a message in a pop-up at the bottom of screen telling us we need a EO.Pdf license.
After all this time, do we need a separate license for EO.Pdf?

Hi,
You have an EO.Web Controls Corproate License that was purchased last may and it would cover all new versions until this may. So if you are talking about EO.Web Controls, then you are fully covered and you do not need a new license. However if you are talking about EO.Pdf, then yes you would need a separate license since that's a separate product.

Thanks for the reply. Just so I understand, after using this control since 2014, recently it needs a license? Is this a current change for Essential Objects?

Hi,
I am not sure if I fully understand your situation. First, I want to make sure we are talking about the same product. The license currently under your account is for EO.Web Controls. The product you are inquering about is EO.Pdf. These are two different products that are licensed separately.
If you have been using EO.Pdf since 2014, then you must have had another order for EO.Pdf probably under a different account. In that case you can PM us with your order number/license key that you have been using and we will try to find more details about that order for you. There have been no change in term of license requirement for EO.Pdf product.
