Hi,

I'm testing the merging of PDF documents with EO.PDF, but I have problems with fonts, some characters are enlarged, some characters are reduced, for some there is too much space between 2 characters.

I tested to merge 5 PDF documents (14 pages in total) and the display problem is mostly present towards the last pages.
These 5 PDF documents were generated with EO.PDF from HTML code. They use the same font, which may be a reason for this bug?

There are options to fix this?

Here is an example of a visual bug :

I use lastest version : 20.3.63

Hi,

Can you send isolate the problem into a test project and send the test project to us? See here for more details on how to send test files to us:

https://www.essentialobjects.com/forum/test_project.aspx

Thanks!

Hi,

After extensive testing, the problem occurs mostly when opening the merged document in the Mozilla Firefox browser via an iframe or by opening it in a tab.
There are the same display problems when opening the document with Acrobat DC (Reader and PRO), the display bug also changes when zooming.
On Google Chrome there are some display problems but less important than what we can see on Firefox or Adobe DC.
I send the isolated project and the files used on the requested page.

Best regards

Thanks for the test file. We are able to find out the root of the problem. This issue will be fixed in our next build. We will reply here again when the new build is available.
