HTML to PDF tags for accessibility Options

Hello, I can only find an old post on this subject, so I need to ask again…

I work for local government in the UK and use HTML to PDF successfully to build PDFs for multiple purposes, but it is now a requirement that PDF’s are accessible which means they need to honour things like alt tags.

If I run a PDF created with HTML to PDF through Adobe Acrobat DC it flags up all the missing required tags. I am told that the PDF is exporting for ‘print’ which is stripping out all accessibility tagging.

Are there now options to include this tagging? Or plans to add it? If not, then does anyone have any suggestions for a workaround please?

Thank you,

Mark.

Unfortunately this is correct. There is still no way to include tag information in the final PDF file. Sorry about it!
