Hello,

Some computer running my app using EO's browser 20.2.34, reported this errors :

EO RUNTIME EXCEPTION => One of the child processes used by EO components reported an out of memory error.

The computer has 8gb ram, it was not using 100% when it happened.

Do you have any idea what sort of memory ran out ?

Computer is a nuc with intel 6100T (Intel HD 530).

When this happens, the webcore crash.

Regards

Hi,

Please enable EO worker process if you have not already done so:

https://www.essentialobjects.com/doc/common/eowp.aspx

How much physical memory you have on your system is irreverent to this issue. The limit is how much a process can use (2GB by default). When a web page is overly complex it can reach this limit thus crash. Enabling eowp.exe increases this limit from 2GB to 4GB.

Thanks!

Hi,

In that case the only thing you can do now is to try to simplify your page to reduce the memory footprint of the page. Going forward, we may switch to 64 bit mode and that will significantly increase the available memory space.

Thanks!
